Lead Buyer, HL-Display

About the Role
Reporting to the CPO, HL Display is looking to fill the position Non Production Purchase Lead Buyer (NPP). The NPP Lead Buyer is responsible for managing the purchasing processes within the relevant scope. Based on the criticity of the purchase (volume, activity, exposition of HL Display, location), the NPP Lead Buyer is expected to either directly manage the process and suppliers (headquarter, factories, hubs); or ensuring processes and actions performed locally are compliant to HL Display Purchasing Strategy (countries or specific).
The NPP Lead Buyer will represent HL Display´s purchasing organization to internal as well as external stakeholders. A strong focus will be on projects within cost reductions and savings. The position demands travelling, around one week per month, to various locations where HL Display operates.

A big share of the NPP Lead Buyer´s scope is focused on IT and Freight, but other NPP categories such as, Energy, Company cars, Travel expense, Telecommunications, Buildings, Outsourced services, investment requests related to machines, equipment, tooling: CAPEX are also part of the scope.
Your Profile
To be successful as an NPP Lead Buyer you must be result and process driven, posses excellent project management skills with the ability to precisely and timely report actions. It is crucial to hold a set of negotiation and communication skills and being able to interact in an international environment. Expertise in supplier management: sourcing, selecting, contracting is valuable. The NPP Lead Buyer is desired to be a social, confident and pragmatic person. It is important to recognise ownership of projects undertaken and to deliver against established goals.
Previous experience
- Master Degree in Business or equivalent
- International experiences (working or studying) are valuable
- A specialty in Purchasing is an asset
- At least one experience in Non Production Purchasing is requested, including the following scope: IT, Freight, Telecommunications, CAPEX
- Relevant industries: automotive, aerospace, white goods, electronics, other production-based industries
- An experience in implementing a SRM system (Suppliers Relation Management – IT) is a definitive asset
Language & IT
- English (fluent)
- Swedish and/or French is desirable
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office is mandatory
- Good knowledge of any ERP system is desirable
- Experience in using a SRM system is an asset
