The position

This is an opportunity to join GANT and work with procurement in an international organization. GANT is looking for a Global Indirect Procurement Manager to join the Global Finance team on the exciting journey ahead. The position is a recently established role and is based in Stockholm. You will report to Director Group Financial Control. The role will provide you with a possibility to further grow with us and you will work in an international setting with an extensive cross-functional network.

The Global Indirect Procurement Manager is responsible for developing the Global Indirect Procurement strategy and road map. You will align with key internal stakeholders and drive strategy and value projects in line with policies, category strategies and business requirements. The position is also responsible for refining indirect procurement processes and manuals as well as benchmarking current business to find opportunities of optimizing categories and cost.

In the position you are also the GANT primary contact for group procurement professionals within the Maus Fréres, the owners of GANT, thus interacting with other brands in the Maus Fréres Group (Lacoste, Aigle and Kooples).

Your profile

To be successful in this position and at GANT you are a team player who is able to engage, motivate and lead people. You are pragmatic with a business acumen and you are highly structured, but also possess flexibility and a can-do attitude in order to find ways forward.

Your skills also include

  • University degree within Economics, Law or similar.
  • Several years of experience from a similar position in a multinational group
  • At least 10 years of experience from working within Procurement
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Skilled negotiator with great interpersonal skills, wide commercial interest and a significant credibility built through both business insight and leadership
  • Ability to work on both strategic and tactical matters
  • Experience from strategic procurement within categories Marketing, Retail and/or IT is meriting
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
