White paper based on the latest EFFSO CPO Survey

The EFFSO CPO Survey is conducted in collaboration with the MTC Procurement Research Center at the Stockholm School of Economics and is carried out every second or third year. The survey aims to identify key procurement trends in Swedish organizations and targets CPOs and other senior decision-makers within procurement.

Our recent white paper, “Challenges, possibilities and opportunities for procurement”, is based on CPO Survey 2024 and it summarizes our key findings from the study. In short, the main findings are the following:

  • Procurement is increasingly becoming a key stakeholder in shaping company strategy
  • Sustainabiulity, digitalization and SRM are the most important areas for development
  • In the age of AI, procurement technology is getting increasingly strategic
  • Procurement organizations focus on adding competence that can generate higher value
