Your mission

In this position you will work in close cooperation with the company’s fuel suppliers, securing fuel to the lowest cost and best commercial terms. Some work tasks are of administrative character, such as monthly supply nominations and KPI reporting.

You will assist in the execution and implementation of regional category strategies by collaborating with internal stakeholders within finance, flight operations, network planning and sustainability. You will lead and manage fuel tenders, preparing, and executing RFXs, negotiating and implementing contracts.

You will also be a part of shaping a greener future by supporting the company to become a leading airline in sustainable aviation.

Other Duties

  • Be an active board member in Oil and joint venture boards.
  • Follow up and continuously improve overall compliance and supplier performance.
  • Manage monthly reporting/nominations to suppliers.
  • Assist flight operations in case of supply disruptions.
  • Follow up on occurrence reporting

You have a proven track record of understanding category management processes and tools and are used to operate in an international organization and working with a global supplier network.

We see that you have a willing to learn- and positive mindset. As we work in an international setting, besides being fluent in Swedish, you also communicate effortlessly in English, both verbally and in writing.

Desired Education/ Experience

  • 7+ years of expertise in tactical and strategic sourcing, preferably from direct materials such as chemicals, fuels.
  • Masters or bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or science.
  • Deep knowledge of category management.
  •  Strong experience in Supplier relation management, contract management and negotiations.
