Jesper Deela Nielsen and Peter Eskild Jensen will share perspectives from the formation of Novonesis, exploring procurement’s role in the integration and the opportunities and challenges of creating value through a major merger. With responsibilities spanning direct procurement, logistics and packaging, they bring complementary views on the transformation.
Formed in 2024 through the merger of Novozymes and Chr. Hansen, Novonesis is a world-leading biosolutions partner with approximately 11,000 employees worldwide. The company develops solutions based on enzymes and microbes for industries including food, health, agriculture and bioenergy, guided by its purpose to better our world with biology.

Jesper Deela Nielsen
Director, Head of Global Logistics & Packaging Procurement, Novonesis
Jesper leads global logistics and packaging procurement at Novonesis. His background spans supply chain management, strategic sourcing and international logistics, with experience from several procurement leadership positions at Chr. Hansen and a previous role in global transport at Alfa Laval.
His perspective combines procurement leadership with an understanding of the logistics and supply chain operations that connect a global business.
